Palm Pre "eats iPhones for breakfast"

The Palm Pre has been described as "better than Viagra" in a mock commercial to advertise the forthcoming smartphone.
The Pre commercial was created by Palm for the All Things Digital conference and stars Roger NcNamee of Elevation Partners, the investment firm which has a significant stake in Palm.
McNamee found himself in hot water back in March when he predicted that the launch of the Pre would lead to customers deserting their iPhones once their contracts were up. Palm swiftly "distanced" itself from the comments, apologising to Apple on McNamee's behalf.
The mock commercial finds McNamee indulging a spot of self-parody as he runs through the benefits of the soon-to-be-launched Pre, as Palm's executive chairman Jon Rubenstein tries to keep him in check.
Among the claims hurled at the camera, McNamee promises that "the Pre responds to your emails before you even read them" and "uses alien technology."
The Palm Pre will be launched in the US on 6 June. There's no word on when it will arrive in the UK.
