Samsung has announced a trio of new 10.1in netbooks: the N110, N210 and N310.

The N110 will sit at the bottom of the range, and is instantly reminiscent of the restrained style found on the PC Pro A-Listed Samsung N10.
Its key features include battery life of up to 9.3 hours using the six-cell, long-life battery it will be supplied with by default. Even with the bigger battery, Samsung claims it weighs only 1.26kg.
Part of the reason behind its lightweight design is the LED display, and as with the N10 it measures 10.1in diagonally across and boasts 1,024 x 600 pixels.
The N210 gazumps the N110 by including a larger keyboard and superior speakers. Samsung describes the N210's keyboard as "full-size 12in", compared to the 10in keyboard on the NC10, while the speakers are rated at 1.5W each - but the real kick comes from the integrated subwoofer.
As with the N110 it remains light (1.28kg), while battery life is promised to be up to ten hours with the long-life, six-cell battery.
Finally comes the most striking netbook in Samsung's new range: the N310. Weighing 1.23kg with a four-cell battery in place, Samsung believes the true difference comes through the design. "First and foremost it is a minimalist and very friendly design," said Samsung's Pammi Mudhar, at the company's European Forum in Vienna.
"What we also have is a homogenous, solid and soft grip on this product. We take the design into the product itself, offering you a fantastic contrast between the outside colour and the inside of this notebook. We also have a pebble-style keyboard and to wrap it all up we have a frameless screen," he added.
The N310 will cost £399 inc VAT. UK prices for the other two models are yet to be confirmed.
