Wikipedia built into Yahoo search results

Yahoo has incorporated illustrated Wikipedia entries into its search results, as it attempts to outsmart runaway rival Google.
The "Wikipedia Enhanced Results" include pictures and snippets from the online encyclopaedia in results for relevant search terms.
The Wikipedia results started life as a SearchMonkey project - Yahoo's open developer platform - which encourages third-parties to incorporate their data into Yahoo search results.
Yahoo claims it "observed how users took advantage of custom Wikipedia Enhanced Results and Infobars, and gathered the best elements from each" to create the embedded results.
The service gives Yahoo a minor advantage over rival Google. Although Wikipedia entries routinely surface near the top of Google search results, they are presented in the plain text format of all Google links.
