Samsung has foisted the NC20's user manual online, giving us an unexpected glimpse at the forthcoming netbook.
The user manual confirms much of the rumoured specification, most notably that it will be powered by VIA's Atom-bothering 1.3Ghz U225 nano processor.

The lack of an Atom processor obviously means that the integrated Intel graphics have been forsaken too, replaced by VIA's Chrome 9 HC3 chip.
The NC20 will also step up to a 12.1in 1,280 x 800 screen, giving plenty of real estate for browsing pages. Elsewhere, it's a pretty standard netbook specification, offering the usual 1.3 megapixel camera, optional DVD burner, multicard reader, Bluetooth, USB ports, and choice of either HDD or SSD. Samsung is claiming a weight of around 1.5kg.
The NC10 currently sits atop our A List, and the NC20 undoubtedly represents a massive scalp for VIA as it attempts to carve inroads into Intel's domination of the netbook market. Whether it can challenge the processor giant on performance and battery life we'll find out come February, when the netbook is expected to be released.
