iPhone nano in June? 10:56AM, Wednesday 14th January 2009
Reports suggest that Apple's unconfirmed iPhone nano could be released in June, putting a spring in the step of the company's summer line up.

The Chinese Economic Daily News is reporting that Apple has tasked Taiwan Semiconductor Company (TSMC) with chip manufacturing duties.

The Cupertino-based company expects to take delivery of the components in March, and given the company's past affiliation with launching iPhones in summer it does hold up.

The first rumours of a small form factor iPhone appeared when the XSXN site started listing cases for the "iPhone Nano". There was some expectation that the company might depart MacWorld with a bang by announcing the product, but Apple remained firmly tight-lipped.

True to form Apple says it does not comment on rumour or speculation.
