The breakneck development of Google Chrome is continuing apace with version 2 of the browser being released to developers.
Chrome, which only launched last September, was recently brought out of beta.
Now those on the browser's developer preview channel have been given access to version 2.0.
The latest version includes features that have long been standard in rivals, such as form autocomplete and full-page zoom.
One innovation is browser profiles, where different users can choose different homepages, bookmarks and browsing history. The feature could also be used to create different profiles for work and home.
Chrome 2.0 also includes support for GreaseMonkey, allow advanced users to customise the browser with their own scripts.
The update is built on the latest version of WebKit, the browser platform that underpins Chrome and rival Safari.
Chrome user can get their hands on version 2 by downloading the Chrome Channel Changer and selecting Developer Preview Channel. You can then click on About Google Chrome in the browser's tools menu to force the upgrade if it doesn't happen automatically.
