John Lennon is spearheading a new advertising campaign for the One Laptop Per Child (OLPC) project - 28 years after the singer died.
Video of the Beatles star has been manipulated to deliver the 30-second advert for the PC charity, which is selling its XO laptop on a 'give one, get one' basis in the Western World.
"Imagine every child, no matter where in the world they were, could access a universe of knowledge," Lennon says in the commercial.
"They would have a chance to learn, to dream, to achieve anything they want. I tried to do it through my music, but now you can do it in a very different way."
"You can give a child a laptop and more than imagine. You could change the world."
The advert has reportedly been given the blessing of Lennon's widow, Yoko Ono.
The OLPC project announced its 'give one, get one' scheme would be launched in Europe in November, but the latest update on the Amazon-hosted microsite says it won't be released until mid-January.
