Dell is set to launch two new "premium" versions of its Studio laptop range.
The Studio XPS range reinforces Dell's renewed focus on design, following on from the forthcoming launch of its MacBook Air rival, Adamo.
Pictures leaked on the internet reveal the laptops will have a split leather/metallic casing, a slot-loading optical drive, edge-to-edge glass screen and a backlit keyboard.
The ports are placed horizontally down the side of the laptops, and include two USB 2.0 slots, eSATA, DisplayPort and HDMI.
There will be 13in and 16in glossy screen versions of the laptops, although Dell is currently refusing to divulge the full specification.
The new Studio XPS laptops will fall between the current Studio range (which was only launched earlier this year) and Dell's high-end XPS range of laptops.
Details of pricing and availability have yet to be announced, although it looks certain that Dell will reveal more at next month's Consumer Electronics Show.
