LinkedIn founder retakes top spot
Posted on 18 Dec 2008 at 12:42
Reid Hoffman has retaken control of LinkedIn, the business networking site which he founded in 2002.
He replaces current chief executive Dan Nye, who has been at the helm for less than two years.
The reasons for the switch have not been revealed by the company, though Hoffman has also brought in Jeff Weiner, a former Yahoo executive to oversee day-to-day operations.
Hoffman is resuming the position he left back in February 2007. Since then he has remained on as the site's chairman and president of products.
