Ultimate Extras continue to disappoint

Microsoft has once again angered Vista owners, rolling out three more lacklustre Ultimate Extras.
Among the new releases, Microsoft is touting a game called Tinker which "provides players with short puzzle game play sessions set in a warm, calming environment," a Windows sound scheme based on the game's audio, and a new DreamScene Content Pack.
The rollout represents the first time in five months the company has updated the Extras, which were once heralded as a major reason to choose Vista Ultimate over its cheaper Windows siblings. However, the updates have been met with a lukewarm reception on the Vista team blogs.
"I am so disappointed in Ultimate Extras. Microsoft said they would contain cutting edge, innovative programs, can't you do something better than sound schemes and a stupid game?" Complains poster Roeland. "I feel so betrayed, spending hundreds of euros on what I thought to be a great OS with a lot of coming features."
Fellow poster shollomon also had concerns, as well as a few suggestions: "How about some of these instead of a silly game and backgrounds that move (ugh). SFTP support in explorer. A utility that allows us to theme Vista, for example I'd like the task bar to be a colour other than black. Better sync, and tabs in explorer."
