Pictures of Eee PC's big brother leak online

Posted on 22 Aug 2008 at 14:58

Details of the Eee PC's big brother, the N10, have appeared online.

The N10 has long been touted as Asus's mid-level version of the Eee PC, but until now details have been scarce.

However, marketing pictures leaked onto French website Blogeee.net, seem to verify the claim showing off some interesting features and slick styling.

As with the Eee PC the N10 will feature an Ethernet port, three USB slots and a VGA port, but unlike its diminutive cousin, will also feature Altec Lansing speakers, express card slot, HDMI port and built in fingerprint sensor between the mouse buttons which should appeal to the security conscious.

The pictures also suggest a physical Wi-Fi switch and built in Bluetooth.

Rumours suggest the N10 will be powered by an Atom processor, possibly the recently announced dual core Atom 330, with storage being taken care of by a 320GB hard disk. It'll also run Vista.

Blogee suggests prices could be between £260 to £350 though Asus have so far refused to confirm anything.
