Lenovo has released further details about its upcoming netbook, the Lenovo S9.
The details come courtesy of Lenovo's Hong Kong website, which notes that the S9 will feature a 8.9in screen, 1.6Ghz Intel Atom, 512MB of RAM, 4GB SSD, and a Linux-based operating system.
Lenovo is also releasing a larger S10 model, which will feature the same processor, but come equipped with 2GB of memory and a 160GB HDD.
Both laptops are set to weigh in at around 1.1Kg, and feature Wi-Fi, a 4-in-1 card reader and the option of either a three or six hour battery. Rumours also suggest the two models will be available in either white, red or pink and sport a multi-touch trackpad.
The S9 will only be available in Europe, a decision which Lenovo claims was made on the back of customer demand. However, customer demand certainly can't explain the pricing with the S9 set to cost £80 more in the UK than the S10 costs in the US.
