Rumours suggest Dell is to bolster its new E netbook line with a 10in model.
The world's second largest PC maker had previously announced that it would make its debut into the low-cost laptop market with an 8.9in E and a 12.1in E Slim, which would be just 0.8in thick, placing it firmly in MacBook Air territory.
However, reports in the Digitimes, suggest the company will cover all its bases by introducing a 10in model also.
Intriguingly, the website claims that E manufacturer Compal has received a production order for 450,000 of the E, and 250,000 for the E slim, double that of the 8.9in model - suggesting Dell is banking on the 10in model being the more popular option.
The 10in E is reportedly scheduled for an October launch, with the 8.9in rumoured for an August release.
The Dell E will be powered by Intel's 1.6Ghz Diamondville and feature Wi-Fi, a webcam and Bluetooth on the more expensive models. There'll be a range of storage options, and a choice of either Windows or Linux.
