Microsoft's "Mojave" ruse going public 10:31AM, Monday 28th July 2008
Microsoft is planning to release the "Mojave" experiment video, as its $300 million Vista push begins.

Last week, we reported how Microsoft invited a group of Vista malcontents to view a video of its latest operating system "Mojave", with a reported nine out of ten loving what they saw.

Cunningly, however, "Mojave" was actually Vista, giving the software giant ammunition for its claims that Vista's biggest problem is not reliability nor driver compatibility, but perception.

It wasn't initially obvious how Microsoft planned to build on this dubious experiment, but now it has launched a teaser site, announcing that it's about to make its test subjects' responses public.

The site claims the video will go live tomorrow, giving us all a chance to shake our heads at the test subject who reportedly remarked "oh wow" upon watching the video of an operating system in action.
