Nothing on the critical list for Patch Tuesday 5:19PM, Friday 4th July 2008
It looks set to be a relatively quiet month for sys admins, with Microsoft reporting no critical fixes for July's Patch Tuesday.

There are four important bulletins on the list, one of which could result in remote code execution.

Two others deal with elevation of privileges, while the fourth deals with a potential spoofing attack.

Three out of the four are targeted at versions of Windows, while one of the elevation of privilege fixes is aimed at Exchange Server.

You can find out full details of the four patches in this month's security bulletin.

Microsoft has also laid out its plans for enhanced security in Internet Explorer 8, the second beta of which is due out at the end of next month.
