Boot Camp updated for XP SP3 9:46AM, Friday 25th April 2008
Apple has updated its Boot Camp software to let Mac owners run the latest version of Windows XP.

Boot Camp 2.1 now includes support for XP Service Pack 3, which was released to manufacturing earlier this week, and will be available for download from next Tuesday.

Apple has released three different versions of the Boot Camp update for Windows XP and both the 32- and 64-bit versions of Vista. All three are said to tweak "compatbility issues".

VMware has also updated its Fusion virtualisation software to support Windows XP SP3 when importing a Boot Camp partition as a virtual machine.
