In February, former Time Computers director Tahir Mohsan announced that the Evesham brand was up for sale after a "financial restructuring" had been "successfully completed".
Mohsan said he would seek a buyer for the newly-formed company that licensed the Evesham brand, Geemore Technology. However, now it seems the company has stopped taking orders altogether.
When we telephoned the Evesham sales line earlier today, posing as a potential buyer, the salesman told us: "We're updating the website - there's nothing available at the moment."
When we asked him which company he worked for, he replied: "We are Evesham - we've bought the name and we're trading under new ownership." But when we asked who those new owners were, he hung up on us.

The website let us place an order for a new PC and accepted our registration details, but we bailed out when the site demanded our credit card details.
We've made attempts to contact Richard Singleton, the man who was listed as a spokesperson for Evesham on its last press release, but he's failed to return our calls and emails.
Former Evesham employees have told us that the company was effectively closed at the end of last month, with all staff being laid off. Evesham Technology's Wikipedia entry states that: "On 31 March 2008 the contracts of all remaining Evesham staff who stayed on at Geemore under a three month contract expired and the company ceased trading in Evesham. The companies offices are currently up for sale, and all showrooms have now closed."
Companies House' records show that Geemore Technology is still an active company.
Tahir Mohsan's Dubai-based "investment vehicle" PCC Technology invested in Evesham last summer, when the brand continued to trade as Geemore Technology. Meanwhile, Mohsan's various subsidiary companies bought up the company's premises, plant and machinery in a deal with Evesham's administrators.
PC Pro reminds readers that we do not currently recommend that anyone buys PCs or any other equipment from Evesham Technology.
