Stats the way to do it

Stata 7, the latest upgrade to the data management and statistical analysis software package, is released today.
Stata 7 is a programmable environment for manipulating and analysing data using graphical methods. As well as performance improvements, the new version incorporates 91 new commands and 368 extra pages of documentation and adds a new layer to display graphics.
The program is simultaneously released on all major platforms. A full specification can be found at stata.com.
