TechTracker, which runs the popular software update site VersionTracker.com, has released its new personalisation tool TechTracker Pro.
This software allows users to customise VersionTracker's Mac update information to match their own applications and interests.
TechTracker Pro creates a personalised home page on the VersionTracker site with daily listings of updates in categories selected by the user. It also creates three user-defined 'watch lists' to monitor updates. The software is available free for a 30-day trial period and for a limited period at a special introductory price.
VersionTracker.com will remain free to all visitors and includes a new OSX page. A Windows version of TechTracker Pro is planned for 2001.
