Meizu CeBIT booth raided 12:42PM, Thursday 6th March 2008
Meizu, creators of the Mini One iPhone clone, were raided this morning by German police over a supposed copyright infringement.

Unsurprisingly for those who've seen the Meizu Mini One, the rumours doing the rounds in the CeBIT halls suggested that Apple had decided to take action on the "iClone" and had informed the police.

However, after being taken down for a few hours, the booth is now up and running again minus some advertising materials for one of its MP3 products.

As it turns out the raid had nothing to do with the Meizu mini one, but rather a licensing issue to do with technology in one of its tiny music players.

Seems we'll get the chance to see if Meizu's creation will hit that looming September release date after all.
