PC Pro's Christmas wishlist

Here at PC Pro, we get our hands on more gadgets than Bond's Q. But what would the team ask for if they could have just one gadget nestling under the tree this year? Find out below.
Tim Danton, editor, wants a Sandisk Sensa
It's not often I'm jealous of PC Pro deputy editor David Fearon - there's the smell, after all - but I have been known to cast discreet glances at the bulge in his pocket. Nothing to worry about, David, I assure you - it's your SanDisk Sensa I'm after.
I've had a 512MB USB flash drive MP3 player for about two years, but the lack of space is starting to cramp the little style I have. The Sansa can't match the iPod nano for slimness or finesse, but I don't have to worry about faffing about with iTunes whenever I want to load a track, battery life is great at 20 hours per charge, it supports the format of my music collection (mostly WMA) and it offers more bang for the gift giver's buck.
Plus, if I get one, David won't have to worry about why I'm glancing down at his trousers all the time.
Darien Graham-Smith, senior staff writer, wants a PlayStation 3
I feel dirty for admitting it, but I'm starting to think I'd like a PlayStation 3. Don't get me wrong, I'm no hardcore gamer, and I'll never love another console like I love my Wii.
It's just that now I've got a high-def TV, it would be sort of nice to have something high-def to plug into it. And I have always had a soft spot for Ratchet and Clank. I know I'm supposed to be boycotting the platform on principle (I have a long memory for rootkits); but if Santa were to bring me one, I could hardly send it back now, could I?
Dave Stevenson, deputy reviews editor, wants a Canon EOS 5D
I've been wracking my brains all year. I've worked extra hard [debatable - Ed]. I've even been nice to my sister. And I know it's a bit of a stretch, particularly when Tim's asked for nothing more than a sub-£100 MP3 player, but this year I'd really like it if you could get me a Canon EOS 5D DLSR.
I know, I know. It's getting on for two years old, which by PC Pro standards is prehistoric, and the 12.8MP sensor isn't the latest and greatest either. Nor is the maximum 3fps continuous shooting rate. But just look at that professional magnesium alloy body. The full-frame 35mm sensor. The gorgeous back, studded with buttons and control wheels for instant control. It makes even my beloved 350D look like old hat.
Get me one, please. I'll treat it well, unlike those hamsters you got me in 1985.
Stuart Turton, news reporter, wants a jetpack
I want a jetpack. Honestly, I do. For years I've sat quietly as ever nippier processors and prettier monitors have crossed my desk, but the only thing I really want is a jetpack.
It's not like I haven't been patient; I grew up reading books that promised me that come 1994 I'd be fed smartie-sized three-course meals by robot waiters and be chauffeured around in hover cars - and what did we get? One hoverboard in Back to the Future II, and the Casio digital watch.
But now the jetpack has arrived: 40 years late and costing a tad more than a watch admittedly, but still, it's here, and I want one.
