Microsoft decides Vista is flawless 11:33AM, Wednesday 31st October 2007
Microsoft may have released a beta of Vista's Service Pack 1 - but according to the company's official support site, the operating system is absolutely flawless.

When Word crashed on a disgruntled PC Pro reader, he dutifully agreed to fill in the online form to report the crash.

However, when he went to select his operating system from the list, he found that Vista wasn't listed - click here to see the errant form.

We can only draw one of two conclusions: either Microsoft's support staff have sloppily forgotten to add Vista to the online support forms, or else they truly believe the operating system is invincible.

Although judging by the complaints that regularly fill our inbox, the latter seems decidedly unlikely.
