DataViz has beaten Microsoft to the draw with the release of Office 2007 software for Windows Mobile smartphones and PDAs.
The new version of Documents To Go Premium Edition enables users of Windows handhelds to open, view, edit, and create Word, Excel and PowerPoint 2007 files and attachments, with full-screen support for viewing PowerPoint presentations. The software also has a Zip and Send feature that compresses files and emails them straight away.
"This version addresses our top customer request for full Office 2007 file support for Word, Excel and PowerPoint," claims Danny Tu, Documents To Go product manager. "After many months of hard work and effort we are proud to produce a solution that stays true to the new XML-based Office 2007 file structure by retaining all file formatting through the use of our very own InTact Technology."
Documents To Go Premium Edition 3.0010 for Windows Mobile Mobile 5.0 Smartphone and 6 Standard costs $29.99 from dataviz.com/dxtgwinmobile. A free trial is also available. Anyone who purchased version 3.000 will receive a free update.
