Correction to Labs review: Mio DigiWalker P550
12:02PM, Friday 13th July 2007
Unfortunately, due to human error, the review of the Mio DigiWalker P550 as printed in the new issue of PC Pro is incorrect. Contrary to the review, it does not come with MioMap v3 navigation software; this must be either bought separately or as part of a bundle with the P550.
You can buy a bundle for £250 exc VAT from www.easydevices.co.uk
But at the higher price of £250, the Mio no longer represents good enough value to hold onto its Labs Winner award, especially when compared to the brand new TomTom Go 720.
The 720 costs only £29 more, but is a better all-round satnav device and as a result takes the A List position. The ViaMichelin X-960 remains PC Pro's Recommended award winner and is a better choice if your budget is limited to £150.
On behalf of PC Pro, I would like to apologise for this mistake.
