Wales hot on Wi-Fi hotspots 4:13PM, Thursday 24th May 2007
We couldn't resist highlighting a few curiosities thrown up by Ofcom's newly published 'Communications Market Report for the Nations and Regions of the UK'.

Did you know, for example, that there are more Wi-Fi hotspots per million people in Wales, 193 to be exact, than in any other UK region. More, indeed, than in Germany, the USA and Japan...

Scotland, on the other hand, leads the UK in making phone calls over the Internet, and Scots believe that having a landline phone available to every household almost as important as having an electricity supply. It's official.
