FSF to tweak GPLv3 to bust up MS Novell deal

Novell and Red Hat make money selling Linux bundled with service contracts that include technical support along with regular maintenance and upgrades to their software.
And while both seek ensure their products work well with those of Microsoft, Red Hat has always maintained that it is able to do so through its membership of the Microsoft led Vendor Interoperability Alliance, without having to make special arrangements with Microsoft.
