This 8GB flash drive from Peak Hardware packs acres of storage into a tiny plastic shell that's so small your biggest problem will be making sure you don't lose it.

Marginally shorter than a pack of chewing gum, but about the same width and almost as thick, you can use the Peak Slider to transfer anything from a modest iTunes library to a decent-sized

photo collection and even a dual-layer DVD's-worth of movie content (almost). For most of us, though, it will serve as a convenient way to carry documents and folders between home and work. At 8GB, it's also a neat way to move all but the largest multi-layered Photoshop documents between Macs.

Its black case and red flash look good, but the Slider's unique feature and the reason for its name is the way the outer frame houses the main body of the device, enabling it to side back and forth, hiding and exposing the USB plug.

This looks neat and works well, but there's one problem: dust. If, like us, you tend to carry these things around in your pocket, you'll find yourself regularly removing fluff and blowing dust from inside the plug.

That issue aside, if you have a need for a capacious flash drive, or just want to impress colleagues with the size of your storage, the Peak Slider fits the bill nicely.
