The i-Station8 houses eight calibrated Vertical-Line-Array speakers, as well as an active subwoofer and bass radiator.
It also includes a remote control that handles the full iPod function range, including Playlists, Albums, Shuffle and Repeat.

It is also possible to plug in other portable music players, although through a stereo jack rather than the dock connector. Note that the remote will not offer the same controls as with an iPod in this scenario.
As well as a mains power source, the i-Station8 can take six AA batteries.
Logic3 is also announcing new products further down the range, such as the i-Station7 - the upgrade to the original i-Station. This now fits all iPods, and adds a remote control.
The i-Station3 is the entry level offering. It can be mains or battery powered and charges and syncronises the iPod - although its main strength is that it is light and compact.
All the units are available in black or white and carry the Made for iPod badge. They cost £99.99 inc VAT £59.99 inc VAT and £29.99 inc VAT, respectively. They will be available from the end of June.
