Jobs reaffirms Intel commitment 11:21AM, Monday 28th April 2008
Steve Jobs has reassured Intel that it has nothing to fear from Apple's acquisition of PA Semiconductor last week.

The Apple chief executive told the Wall Street Journal's Business Technology blog that his company is very happy with the supplier of processors for its entire Mac range.

"We have a great partnership with Intel," Jobs said. "We expect that to continue forever."

He added that Apple had acquired PA Semi primarily for its technology and engineers, not in order to become a chip maker.
