Roxio pops up universal Toast 12:57PM, Monday 3rd July 2006
Roxio has released a universal version of Toast, its popular CD and DVD authoring environment.

In addition to support for Intel Macs, version 7.1 fixes problems with: previewing Apple Lossless audio files in Audio CD format; QuickTime Movie video export; menu button highlights on DVD-Video discs; invalid characters in Mac Only, Mac & PC, and DVD-ROM UDF formats; and audio playing back too slowly and static sound with some files at higher quality settings on music DVDs. All the changes are listed in the release notes.

The update also includes a universal version of CD Spin Doctor, Toast's companion application for digitising analogue recordings from vinyl records and tapes.

The Toast 7 Titanium v7.1 Update can be downloaded from roxio.com/en/support/toast/software_updatesv7.jhtml.
