Like its Pro big brother, Freeway Express has been redesigned with a new interface and much tighter OS X integration, with support for Spotlight searching and uploading to .Mac, for example.
Other new features include text and graphics effects, improved transparency options and a built-in preview using the Safari WebKit. There is also support for more sophisticated layouts and Type 1 fonts.

'All of these features are still to be found in Pro, now have a look at what's new!,' said Softpress MD Richard Logan. 'I think it's a small price to pay, and one worth paying, for the simplification of the interface.'

Pro-only features include multiple output options (HTML 3.2, HTML 4.01, XHTML Transitional and Strict), complete colour and text style management across the entire document, multiple style sheets for each document and full CSS text styling and CSS layout (see Additional Features in Freeway 4 Pro for details).
