I came over from California. I worked a vacation around this; I've never been out of the US.
The store is wonderful; every flagship store outdoes itself. The architecture is really nice.
I've been here since Thursday evening. We have our tent that two of us are sharing.
Yes, it's extreme, but not so much if you consider it's your love. I love Apple, I love the company, I love what it's about.
We've been moved along from the front of the store because they wanted photo ops and everything. This is where the queue starts from this morning.

Apple's creativity and the way they think gets people so devoted. This store is beautiful. It's gorgeous.
It's fun here, despite the cold. There have been a lot of people around. People coming in throughout the night, asking every five minutes.
We haven;t spoken to any of the guys in the store; only security!
Devin Allen, California
I didn't come as far as these guys [Thomas and Devin]! I've been here since 8:30 this morning. My brother's with me, and we have plenty of supplies; I'm wearing thermals, and we've got chairs, sleeping bags and everything.
It's great to see them coming into the UK with such a big presence. I'm hoping for a goody bag, but I don't know whether I'll keep it or sell it. It depends on what's in it, but I suppose it'd be opened then! It's worth the hardship.

I've been here since around nine; came down from Glasgow. I'm just a Mac fanatic. I went to the San Francisco one and it was good, so I had to come to this one; my local, comparatively.
Apple just make great stuff, both the hardware and the software. It's interesting to see what they bring out next.
I'm sure it will be very wheelchair-friendly, too. Their stores in the States have all been very good, so I'm sure this will be the same.
The other resellers are bound to be affected by this store.
They make the opening a good event, with a bit of hype.
There's always a good camaraderie and the queue, too. I wouldn't have missed this for the world.
Matt Duffy, Glasgow
I came down about 1:30 yesterday, and it was pouring with rain and freezing cold. I've just got a seat and a sleeping bag, and a big plastic bag in case it rains.
It's my birthday today, so I'll be buying a lucky bag tomorrow in the hope that I get an iPod. I'll probably buy one anyway, even if I don't. The lucky bags are, I think £250, but it's something like £705 value. There's a 10% discount card too; it's my wife's birthday at the weekend and she wants an iPod mini.
I took the day off from work today anyway for my birthday.
Julian Tysoe, London
I came over from Dallas. The ticket was $470. I already have an iPod! It's a trip to London, too.
I stayed here outside the store last night, and will be here tonight, but I contacted one of the user groups and someone volunteered a room for after that.
