Adobe has set up a FrameMaker survey, raising hopes that it may recommence OS X development of the XML-based technical and long document production software. Adobe called time on the Mac version in April. The company says that the survey 'will help Adobe Systems better understand their customers and identify ways to improve future products and services'.
Mac technical software specilaists Wolfram Research recently introduced Publicon to fill the gap left by FrameMaker, which is still available for Windows and Sun's Solaris version of Unix.
Finally, Microsoft has opened the doors to a new tour of 'the most powerful Virtual PC yet'. Even if you are not interested in emulating a PC, the sight of Windows running on a Mac is always intruiging, if slightly disturbing, The Flash tour starts at /www.microsoft.com/mac.
