OS X 10.3.5 adds Bluetooth remote control support
11:56AM, Monday 16th August 2004
Hidden away in last week's OS X update was the addition of support for Bluetooth phones that have a remote control facility.
MobileWhack reports, complete with video, that 'Use phone as a remote control' is a new option in the Bluetooth Setup Assistant.
Apple is not the first company to provide remote control support in OS X. That honour goes to Salling Software, whose Salling Clicker application - with many more features (and third-party plug-ins) - won Best Mac OS X Product in the 2003 Apple Design Awards.
