Apple UK to get new head
11:52AM, Wednesday 20th September 2000
Apple sources have confirmed that the company's UK subsidiary is to get a new general manager at the end of October. The new executive, Mark Rogers, will take over from Brendan O'Sullivan, who is leaving to take up a new post with Apple Europe.
Rogers has worked for Apple for three years, and is currently interim vice president for sales and marketing of Apple's Asia/Pacific region. Previously, he had worked for several technology companies, including Oracle.
O'Sullivan, who has been general manager, UK region, since the departure in June 1999 of Jon Molyneux, will lead Apple's efforts to increase market share in the education sector in Europe.
