Apple updates iMac graphics
9:07AM, Tuesday 29th April 2008
Apple has released a graphics update for iMacs with either an ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro or 2400 XT graphics card installed.
The iMac ATI Radeon HD Graphics Firmware Update 1.0.1 software patches the graphics card firmware to improve system stability.
To complete the firmware update process, follow the instructions in the updater application that will launch automatically when the installer closes.
To check which graphics card is installed, select About This Mac from the Apple menu, click More Info... to launch the System Profiler, and then select Graphics/Display from the Hardware list.
