Apple plans changes for Regent Street store 9:53AM, Tuesday 22nd April 2008
Apple is in the process of refining the layout of its Regent Street store to accommodate the increasing number of shoppers.

IfoAppleStore reports that smaller tables are being introduced downstairs, increasing the number from four to six, while upstairs changes will add three more Mac Pro desktops to the two currently on display.

The Creative and Studio bars are to get new furniture to increase the number of seats, while a Concierge table in front of the glass lift will provide help with Genius Bar reservation as well as general assistance.

Regent Street opened in November 2004 but by 2006 had become so busy that Apple had to add an extra 2,600m2 of floorspace.
