Apple reissues MacBook Pro firmware update

Apple has released a revised version of the recent MacBook Pro firmware update.
it appears to fix problems with the original release, including kernel panics and installation issues.
Its own typically brief release notes say only that the update fixes several issues to improve stability, but MacFixit reports that

The MacBook Pro EFI Firmware Update 1.5.1 update is available from apple.com/support/downloads.
The update is accompanied by a new version of the Firmware Restoration CD, to be used in the event of a failed or interrupted firmware update. Version 1.7 is compatibale with several Intel iMac, Mac mini, MacBook and MacBook Pro models.
