iTunes 7.6.1 is available via Software Update improves compatibility with Apple TV 2 and fixes a number of unspecified bugs.
Apple TV owners may also be interested in Rogue Amoeba's latest Airfoil update. Version 3.1 supports streaming of any audio from a Mac to an Apple TV box, as well as AirPort Express units.
Less interesting, as far as UK users are concerned, is the news that Apple is offering one cut-price movie rental each week. This week it's The Hours that is available for 99. Apple has also managed to secure some movies more quickly than promised. It had said that rentals would be available 30 days after the DVD release, but at least one title has appeared more quickly than that.
