Jeff Zucker, chief executive of the US broadcaster, is said to have "patched up" up his differences with Apple, which hinged on Apple's refusal to rise prices for popular NBC shows.

NBC began withdrawing its programmes from iTunes in August of last year after Apple declined new terms that it said included doubling of the wholesale price. NBC denied this, insisting that the talks with Apple centred on NBC's demand for more flexible pricing - both higher prices for popular shows and cheaper bundles for back catalogue material.
There was also talk that NBC wanted Apple to deploy stricter usage restrictions and only this month Apple is said to have rejected the broadcaster's invitation to join a new DRM alliance.
But it seems that a combination of lost revenue and the launch of the new Apple TV have forced NBC to reconsider.
