Solihull Apple store opens 22 September 8:49AM, Wednesday 19th September 2007
The UK's eleventh Apple retail store will open at the Touchwood Centre in Solihull on Saturday 22 September.

The first 1,000 people through the doors after 9am opening will receive a free Apple T-shirt. There will a Grand Opening Sweepstake for the chance to win a Digital Lifestyle Collection that includes a black MacBook and an iPod nano.

For more information about the store and its forthcoming events go to apple.com/uk/retail/touchwoodcentre.

Apple's Exeter store may open a few days later. The city's new Princesshay shopping centre will open on 20 September, but its Apple store is not expected to open until a few days after the Virgin store oens on the 29th, according to the Express and Echo. That would make the next Saturday, 6 October, the likely date.

Apple also has stores scheduled to open in Milton Keynes, Brighton, Liverpool and Reading.
