Remarkable iPhone look-alike in the works 8:55AM, Wednesday 7th March 2007
Plenty of big-name mobile manufacturers have unveiled what they're already calling an iPhone killer, but the closest we've seen any come to exactly mimicking the look of the sleek gadget comes from Meizu, and it's an amazing reproduction (picture below).

Meizu is a Chinese manufacturer, whose products are best known in its home country, where it produces and sells portable music and video players.

Now it has come out with the M8, which features a similar-looking dock connection point to that on the iPhone, and icons that are a cross between those on the iPhone and their Pocket PC equivalents.

Although the product hasn't yet appeared on the company's official product pages, Shanghaiist reports that it was posted to the company's bulletin board by one of its own forum moderators. The original posting can be found here.
