Mark/Space intros Mac-to-Mac syncing

Mac synchronisation specialists Mark/Space has launched SyncTogether, its first product for sharing information across several Macs, rather than simply a Mac and a mobile device.

This allows groups to share a project calendar and company contacts, while a family at home could share a family events calendar and Address Book entries for family and friends. Because you can choose which Address Book groups and iCal calendars to sync, your personal information stays private. Best of all, each user who is part of the sync group can make changes to shared contacts and calendar events, and can do so right from their Mac,' it says.
Using the Bonjour layer built into Mac OS X, it lets you easily synchronise the same information on several machines running on the same network. The developer promotes it for use by anyone with a travelling notebook and office-based desktop, or for a family with several Macs.

SyncTogether uses Apple's Sync Services, and so can sync the data of any other compatible application, including Entourage 2004, Yojimbo and Transmit.
It costs $49.95 for up to three Macs. Additional Macs can be added in groups of three. Further information is available on the Mark/Space site.
