A healthy working environment

Laptop versus desktop
1 There's a clue in the name: laptop computers are designed for use on a lap. As such, if you want to use one on a desk, it makes sense to have it set up as a desktop machine. Try to avoid using the built-in keyboard and trackpad, no matter how good they are on modern MacBook Pros, PowerBooks and iBooks. Instead, take the Mac mini approach by investing in a separate keyboard and mouse. If at all possible, put your machine onto a stand that will raise the screen to eye level. The Griffin iCurve is ideal, and as it looks great, it won't spoil the cool lines of your Apple kit.
