There is also a new MobileMe News page on the Apple site.

Apple is clearly feeling quite contrite about the outages, email loss and other problems that MobileMe subscribers had to put up with for several weeks after its launch. “We know that MobileMe's launch has not been our finest hour, and we truly appreciate your patience as we turn this around,” it said in an email to subscribers, adding that it still has many improvements to make.
