PC Pro's top 50 secret websites 11:01AM, Wednesday 9th May 2007
In issue 154 of PC Pro, we've hand picked our top 50 secret websites.

These aren't the well-known click magnets that traditionally top favourite website lists. Our 50 are the hidden gems without the multimillion marketing budgets; the lesser-known but no less worthy websites that you might not have come across before.

To save you having to manually type the URLs into your browser, you can simply

download the bookmarks folder here.

There are two ways to use the file above:

1. Simply click on the link to open the list of sites in your browser, and add your particular favourites to your bookmarks folder as usual.

2. Import all 50 sites into your bookmarks folder.

To do this in Internet Explorer: right click on the link above, choose Save Target As, save it to an easy to locate destination and then import the file by clicking File, Import and Export and following the onscreen prompts.

To do this in Firefox: left click on the link above, then right click on the page that opens and select Save Page As. Select Web Page, HTML only as the file type. Then import the file by selecting Organise Bookmarks from the Bookmarks menu, and clicking File, Import.
