A table of the digital images taken with the pocket digital cameras Kodak's LS743 isn't the smallest, but it's simple to use, fast and offers great quality from its 4-megapixel CCD and 2.8x optical zoom. The all-metal body is solid and the great 1.8in high-resolution screen is very bright - making it more usable outdoors than most. Outdoor shots were sharp and well saturated, with colours true to life. Indoors, shots were sharp without a flash, leading to natural-looking colours. Macro ability is very good, as are movies.
