PC Pro Awards 2008: Graphics Cards
WINNER: EVGA
As a manufacturer of solely Nvidia cards, EVGA's high scores for performance reflect well on the American company's range during 2008. And it backs it up with the best post-sales support in the business, according to PC Pro readers, with 99% of its customers being either satisfied or very satisfied with the forum- or email-based support they received.
Highly Commended: BFG, XFX
Clearly the best rule of thumb when buying a graphics card is to choose a vendor with an abbreviated name, with both BFG and XFX earning tremendous loyalty from their customers. When asked whether they'd buy again, PC Pro's readers said yes in their droves: 96% for BFG and 95% for XFX. And just like EVGA, they scored well for performance too.Categories

The star ratings above are based on PC Pro\'s Reliability & Service 2008 survey, which took place between May and August 2008. This year, almost 15,000 readers took part: we asked about the customer support they received, the reliability and quality of the products they bought, and whether they\'d buy from the company again. We then combined all this information to produce a star rating, and the company with the highest rating wins. If any companies were close runners-up, they win a Highly Commended award. Note that for the results to be statistically valid, we need 100 people to have given their feedback on the company. This is why many smaller companies aren\'t included in the table.
