PC Pro Awards 2008: Labs
WINNER: Mesh
The Labs Award is totally different from all the others: it isn't decided by judges or by the thousands of readers who give us their feedback on customer support, reliability and overall satisfaction. Instead, it's based purely on how consistently well in our Reviews, Labs and Business sections – and, for the second year running, Mesh's superb PCs beat the rest.
Highly Commended: Chillblast, Dell
Mesh didn't have its own way every month, however. Chillblast was frequently hot on its heels with its own take on super-fast PCs, and it's never been too far away from the A List – particularly in the Enthusiast PC category. Dell's performance is equally remarkable, as it's spanned all form factors of both laptop and desktop PC – superb consistency.Categories

To qualify for the shortlist, a manufacturer had to appear at least six times within the pages of PC Pro, with the relevant issues being 159 to 169.
