Postby tony599 » Fri Jan 06, 2012 10:28 am

Er, how does one get the Registration code as the offered link returns a 404?

It looks like most, if not all of the links aren't working, I wonder if they mean to switch them on nearer the newstand date and us lucky subscribers are just too early?

I also get 404 error when attempting to register AVG.
Further I installed the AVG software in the hopes that this would fix the problem. However, this way I only get 30 days not the promised 365.

Would have hoped someone from the mag would be around to help by now - I have it installed but also only 28 days left

After having to register at least twice and given two different codes, I now have an expiry date in 2013

Note that it's strictly one code per person. AVG reserve the right to block and/or cancel multiple requested codes from the same person. Remember these codes are logged by AVG.

Apologies, but that's the rule of the promotion.

Apologies all - as some of you have guessed, the registration site goes live only when the magazine goes on sale. In this case it seems you got your issues more quickly than expected! If you visit the address given in the magazine, or the one detailed in the disc interface, you should now be able to register your free software.

Note that we've had to remove some of the links in this thread: these aren't supposed to be publicly available, for obvious reasons!

Hi,
Thanks for fixing the link.
The £20 offer for Premium Security Plus is now present on the AVG site via the link on your page, but the £15 offer for Premium Security 2012 is not - it is only available for £25 (more than the above offer!).
Hopefully AVG can fix this.
